Every summer his camera records young people whose build, expression and appearance changeŃsometimes dramatically, sometimes subtly. Jock Sturges' portraits capture the ethereal and transitory light of summer illuminating the bodies and minds of his subjects. Jock Sturges received a B.A. in Perceptual Psychology and Photography from Marlboro College in Vermont and an M.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute. He has exhibited widely in the U.S. as well as in Europe and Japan.
