Frank won the Guggenheim Fellowship in 1955 - 1956, and in 1956 -1957.
Robert Frank took over 20,000 photos for The Americans. Only 83 were chosen for the exhibition and book.
Robert Frank has also worked as a filmmaker; his films include the Beat film
Pull My Daisy and Cocksucker Blues, the contraversial documentary of the
Rolling Stones's 1972 American tour.

11" x 14" Silver gelatin photographs. A few photographs are printed on larger paper.

Frank printed in unnumbered editions. For most images, no more than 20 exist.

Many are signed au verso (back of the photograph) in black ink.
Vintage:
A few vintage photographs are available. Vintage means that the print date is at or near the same time as the negative date.
