General Format:
Distinctive border edge with titles, earlier dates. Hand-painted silver gelatin photographs in 8" x 10", 11" x 14", 16" x 20" (rare), and 20" x 24" (rarest). Some photographs are multi-panel or on large sheet of photo paper.
How many photographs exist?
Early editions were of 50. Now editions range from 5 to 15 of each photograph.
How are the photographs printed and signed?
Printed, hand-painted and trimmed with a unique border by the artist, all photographs are signed in ink au recto (front) with edition numbers (usually).
Vintage:
Vintage photographs are available. Vintage means that the print date is at or near the same time as the negative date.
Technical Information:
Saudek uses many kinds of small and medium format cameras. He uses photographic paper made in Hungary.
